Also offering climbing & abseiling sessions to groups and individuals, hen parties, families wanting to be teased out of the comfort zone virtually anywhere in the UK.

Whether your training for a SPA assessment or just want a different form of exciting new way of keeping fit, climbing / abseiling is "Challenge by Choice". You set the boundaries, to how far you want to push your own limits - physically and mentally whilst safely attached to the rope via your harness.

Designed for complete beginners the “Dancing Ledge” is a popular location set in stunning surroundings of sea cliffs.
The area has other geological and Jurassic features to entertain the kids once they have done all 6 climbs. This can take around 90 minutes for a group of 4. Climbing at Dancing ledge offers a unique sea/ climb experience for all ages.

CLIMBING & ABSEILING AROUND PURBECKS – DANCING LEDGE, PURBECKS, DORSET
Outline -
The Purbecks near Poole offer a multitude of great climbing options from school groups sessions to expert level. Situated 30 minutes from the Poole station the area of the Purbecks offer picturesque sea cliff climbing that has views over the Jurassic Coastline and out to the English Channel. You’ll park your car in a free car park followed by a 20mins walk to the cliffs that tower over the “Dancing Ledge”. With over 90 climbs in this area you won’t get bored!
Accom options –
These can be from the basic B&B/half board option in a simple 3 star hotel locally in Swanage. Other options staying in Haven Banks Hotel at Shell Bay this offers a more luxurious accommodation for your stay in the Purbecks.
Equipment & Location -
With all equipment being provided, from harnesses and helmets, even a packed lunch to all ropes and safety metalwork. Or bring your own climbing equipment.
Perhaps, consider an alternative location where I can meet you for a half-day climbing that suits your group needs.
Pick ups/Transfers -
This can be done from train and bus stations, perhaps in Poole as they are only 250m apart. Transporting you to the Swanage area for a leisurely half- day session up to a 3-4 day option with a variety of locations being offered.
